It is very easy to get carried away and to be caught up in the web of always wanting more than what we have at the moment. As people we always want more and we have goals and things that we want to acquire but it is of great importance to take a step back and appreciate what you have. This maybe physical property, shelter, opportunities and the fact that you are still alive is what matters the most. Most importantly appreciating the people around you, your family and friends. As people we never appreciate the people in our lives until they are gone which is really sad. Let’s appreciate those around us by letting them know we care, you can let them know by either telling them or getting them gifts. Ones actions must match what they say, you cannot tell someone you love them and act in a totally different way.

One of my favorite things to do is to get gifts but not just any gifts but I like putting a lot of thought into what I get. A gift does not have to be massive or expensive but it’s the thought and effort put into it. At times being available or just listening is much appreciated. The physical things at the end of the day do not really count it is the people around us, our family and friends. When you are grateful you attract what you want. If you take care of what God has blessed you with and care for it as if it were new you will be amazed at what will happen.

I had an old laptop that had been handed to me and it would just crush many times a day and over heat. I took care of it as if it were new and I loved dearly. After a while God blessed me with a new one and I could not be happier. God will not entrust to you more when you are not faithful with what He has given to you now. Continue to be ambitious and want more for yourself and yet be grateful for where you are and what you have.
Be grateful
Until next time
